Prop Firm Free Trials: Plan a Practice Test That Answers One Question

A free trial is most useful when it answers a narrow question before a paid decision. Choose the process you want to observe, save the applicable trial rules and define what evidence would complete the test. Trial availability and later account eligibility remain separate.

Confirm what the trial actually provides

FTMO’s official free-trial page reviewed on 23 October 2026 describes a 14-day simulated practice period and says passing it does not itself produce an FTMO Account. Product-specific objectives need to be read on that current source. This is a bounded example of a trial, not a claim that all providers use the same terms.

No free HashHedge trial has been established by this article. Review its current offer independently. A free account registration and a free trading assessment are different features; a link to the first should not be labelled as proof of the second.

Write a test before its outcome

In a fictional practice plan, the question is whether the journal captures the rule version, each opening event and all costs. Day 1 saves the baseline, days 2–5 collect observations, day 6 reconciles them, and the remaining period permits a review if the trial remains active.

Completion means the required records exist and reconcile, not that a gain was achieved. If the practice account ends earlier, preserve the actual end and the unfinished observations. Do not turn unobserved days into zero activity or claim that trial results carry into a paid stage.

Use the evidence for the next decision

This site’s preparation checklist can show stale or missing inputs. Date every retained answer and distinguish a planned test from the observations actually collected. A trial can expose a mismatch before a purchase without predicting a later pass.

The FTMO citation is an informational source. The optional sponsored HashHedge link leads to a separate provider’s current information, with no promise of a free trial, transfer of practice results or personal account approval.
